LSD & NTS Finder and Oilfield Route Planner

OilTrails Navigation combines online LSD lookup, NTS location search, map context, and oilfield route planning in one workspace. Use it to turn the location information you receive from dispatch, a work order, or a field contact into a mapped destination and a practical route.

1. Search for the location. Enter an LSD, Legal Land Description, NTS coordinate, town, or street address. You can also select a point directly on the map.
2. Review the map context. Confirm the result, inspect nearby roads, and switch between road, satellite, and terrain views. DLS and NTS grid overlays are available with eligible plans.
3. Build an oilfield route. Set the location as an origin or destination, add waypoints when available, and review the route before sending a crew into the field.
4. Save or share the plan. Keep important places in recents or collections, share the route, or prepare printable directions for an office-to-field handoff.

Search Legal Land Description and LSD locations in Alberta and Saskatchewan, NTS locations used in British Columbia and other parts of Western Canada, plus towns, addresses, and map coordinates. A single result can move directly into route planning without copying the location into another mapping tool. Searched locations can be seamlessly handed off to the OilTrails mobile app for navigation and field use.
