Partner SiteLink
Partner SiteLink lets approved software vendors open a specific destination inside OilTrails without exposing a public API, general platform access, or reusable internal services.
What It Does
- Launch a known destination inside OilTrails from a trusted partner workflow
- Preserve OilTrails routing, mapping, and location intelligence inside the app
- Support partner attribution and controlled B2B rollout
- Keep non-subscribed users inside a restricted partner-launch experience
What Partners Can Launch
Partner SiteLink is designed for narrow, trusted handoff scenarios such as:
- opening a known job, ticket, or field destination
- launching a destination by query, coordinates, or both
- starting a guided view or route flow inside OilTrails
It is not a public API product and it does not provide arbitrary remote control of OilTrails.
How Onboarding Works
Approved partners receive:
- a partner identifier
- a shared signing secret
- the SiteLink payload contract
- validation rules and test examples
Partners generate signed launch URLs on their side, and OilTrails verifies each request before the app opens.
Built for Controlled Access
Partner SiteLink keeps the trust boundary on the OilTrails backend:
- signed requests only
- short-lived launch tokens
- partner activation and deactivation controls
- server-side logging and analytics support
