We’re thrilled to announce the launch of OilTrails for Browsers, a powerful web application that brings the full functionality of our mobile app right to your desktop or laptop browser. OilTrails for Browsers provides a convenient way to access essential lease locating tools, well data, weather information, and more. Best of all? It’s completely free to use.

Key Features:

• LSD Locator: Easily find LSDs (Legal Sub-Divisions) across Western Canada with our intuitive interface. OilTrails for Browsers offers comprehensive LSD locating capabilities, allowing you to pinpoint locations with precision.
• Well Data Integration: Access comprehensive well data directly within the application. If well data is available for a location, you’ll find it conveniently displayed in the bottom left corner of the screen.
• Weather Updates: Stay informed about weather conditions in your area of interest with real-time weather updates provided within the app.
• Reverse Geocoding: Quickly find the location and well details by double-clicking on any point on the map. Our reverse geocoding feature makes it easy to pinpoint specific locations with accuracy. Switch into satellite view to see the exact location of the well and get the well information.
• Multiple Map Layers: Customize your viewing experience by selecting from various map layers. Whether you prefer satellite imagery or topographic maps, OilTrails for Browsers has you covered.

Getting Started:

To start using OilTrails for Browsers, simply visit oiltrails.ca/lsd-finder on your desktop or laptop browser and create or sign into your OilTrails account. From there, you’ll have access to all the features mentioned above. Please note that the best mobile experience remains on the OilTrails app.
