Checking a pump rate, calculating a hole volume, or sending a wellsite photo with its location attached are everyday jobs. Our free oilfield apps give you a dedicated tool for each of those tasks, along with a calculator for tubing stretch and compression.
We’ve expanded the lineup: Pump Rate Calculator is now available on Android, including Wear OS. Hole Volumes now supports custom pipe and casing sizes, and the GeoPics rollout is complete. All four apps below are free and available for Android and iOS.
Enter your pump coefficient, then tap along with the pump strokes to calculate the pump rate. It gives you a way to check the rate from the strokes you’re observing without working through the calculation by hand.
The new Android release brings Pump Rate Calculator to Android phones and Wear OS watches. It’s also available for iPhone and Apple Watch, giving crews options for the devices they already use.

Hole Volumes calculates volumes from the depth and selected pipe and casing sizes. Built for service rig and oilfield work, it supports metric and standard measurements.
The latest update adds custom pipe and casing sizes. When the size you need isn’t in the preset list, you can enter a custom size for the calculation instead of choosing the closest listed option. That makes the app useful for a wider range of pipe and casing combinations.

A photo sent from a wellsite is more useful when the person receiving it can identify the location and understand what needs attention. GeoPics can put coordinates, available legal land descriptions, a timestamp, and your comment directly on the image. A location QR code lets the recipient open the photographed location on a map.
Use it to document a gate, equipment issue, lease-road approach, or work completed at a site. Adding a comment such as “damaged hinge on north gate” keeps the explanation with the photo when it’s saved or shared.
The updated GeoPics experience is now fully rolled out, with standalone apps for Android and iOS. The updates make it easier to capture several photos, organize your library, add comments, and keep track of exports. GeoPics is also available inside OilTrails.

Tubing Stretch helps calculate stretch and compression for tubing strings, including applications such as setting tubing anchors and packers. Enter the desired tension, depth, and tubing size to calculate the stretch needed to leave the string at that tension.
The app supports metric and standard measurements and remains part of our free oilfield app lineup on both Android and iOS.
