Ash Point Ltd., which publishes applications as Ash Point Software (“Ash Point,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains the privacy practices for the following applications:
Together, these are referred to as the “Covered Apps.”
This policy applies only to the Covered Apps. It does not apply to the OilTrails application or website, which are covered by the separate OilTrails Privacy Policy.
The Covered Apps do not collect, transmit, store, sell, rent, or share personal information or sensitive user data.
The Covered Apps do not collect:
Values entered into the Covered Apps are processed locally on the user’s device for the purpose of performing calculations.
Some settings, calculation values, or active session information may be stored locally on the device so they can remain available when the app is reopened. This information is not transmitted to Ash Point and is not stored on Ash Point servers.
Where supported, Pump Rate Calculator may synchronize pump coefficient and efficiency settings between a user’s paired phone and wearable device using the operating system’s device-pairing services. Ash Point does not receive or store this information.
The Covered Apps do not require or provide user accounts, registration, or login functionality.
The Covered Apps are free to download and use. They do not offer subscriptions or in-app purchases, and Ash Point does not collect payment information through them.
The Covered Apps do not use Google Analytics or other analytics or behavioral-tracking services.
The Covered Apps do not use personal information to provide targeted or personalized advertising. A Covered App may contain a static link or promotion for another application published by Ash Point. These promotions are not personalized using user data.
Some Covered Apps may allow users to share calculation results or logs through applications installed on their device.
Sharing occurs only when the user chooses to use the sharing feature and selects a destination. Ash Point does not receive or retain a copy of the shared content. The selected service processes the information according to its own privacy policy.
The Covered Apps may contain links that open an app store, website, or another application. Once a user leaves a Covered App, the privacy practices of the external service apply.
Apple, Google, device manufacturers, operating-system providers, and app stores may independently collect information relating to app downloads, installations, updates, backups, or store activity. Ash Point does not control this collection. Users should consult the applicable provider’s privacy policy for more information.
Because the Covered Apps do not collect or store user data on Ash Point servers, Ash Point has no app user data to retain or delete.
Users can remove locally stored settings and calculation information by clearing the app’s storage or uninstalling the app. Information included in an operating-system backup is controlled by the user’s device and backup provider.
If a user contacts Ash Point by email or through the OilTrails website, we will receive the information the user voluntarily provides, such as their email address and message.
This information is used only to respond to the inquiry, provide support, and maintain necessary business records. It is not collected through the Covered Apps or used for advertising. Users may request deletion of their support correspondence by contacting us, subject to any legal record-retention requirements.
The Covered Apps are not specifically directed at children. They do not knowingly collect personal information from children or any other users.
The Covered Apps are designed to process calculation information locally and minimize access to device information. Since Ash Point does not receive app user data, it does not maintain a server-side database containing information from users of the Covered Apps.
We may update this Privacy Policy if the features or privacy practices of a Covered App change. Any revised policy will be posted on this page with an updated revision date.
